More fabric.

Yes. Fabric. Earth-colors and such. And some white tylle (finally!). Yay.

More clothes and a dilemma...

I have had these for a while now, but actually didn't try them on till recent. Two adorable pajamas set and a bunnyhat (the bearhat have showed up here before). Everything from Poinsettia04 on Etsy. Chloe's short wig works with everything, but she looked a bit boy-ish with the blue set (yes, I keep nagging about this don't I). So I tried the red wig again and WOH! Looks great with her new eyes. So now I can't decide which style she's gonna have. Pink and dark red/wine as combination is NO NO for me. But I really want a LittleFée in pink. What to do? Buy another one? Oh dear. This is getting dangerous.

(Pssst. It was dark outside and the light was bad inside, which means FLASH of DOOOM. Doesn't make the best pictures. She's not that yellow)

And the cozy boots are from sunnybobo, also on Etsy. Love them. Want them in every size and color there is. Yes please?

More Glass Eyes

Yep. Need more eyes. Can't get enough of them apparently.

14mm, 16mm and 16mm .

I bought the ones above from eBay a while ago. First two looks great irl, but the third was a disappointment. It looks so dark and animal-like in the picture (which was what I wanted), but in reality the iris isn't that big, it's just a darker brown color around the black iris and it's much brighter and less...exiting. But one can't be lucky every time.

And here's the second bunch:

 16mm, 14mm, 10mm, 10mm

These are Full House Glass Eyes from hikaraxxy on DoA. There was a fifth pair in size 16mm, but I discovered that I had the same eyes from before, so it felt a little pointless to show them again.

I really like glass eyes without black pupils. I think it looks more alive and not so blank. The black ones have sometimes the tendency to have a dead stare. Which the colored ones can have too or they might look to dim, so it's a fine line in my opinion. What do you think?

White picket fence and...

Woooh. I started and FINISHED a dress without several weeks or months between! This must be some sort of miracle. And of course Shilou insisted that she had to take it out for a spin:



I think she wants a garden just as much as I do. But for now she'll have to be satisfied with a little white picket fence which surrounds three pots where some seeds have been planted. Oh, and the little garden shed, isn't that the cutest? Perfect for all her tools :)

A bunch of unfinished dresses

I found all my (yet mostly unfinished) PukiFée dresses. And the hats. Finally have everything in one place. I've showed some here on the blog before, but most of them have been in hiding.

And instead of actually finish one of the already existing dresses, I started with a new one yesterday...no wonder there's so much stuff everywhere >.<'

Really useful boxes ♥

This is amazing. I'm totally amazed. What have made me in such a thrilled-mode you might wonder?

I found them! Tiny "Really useful boxes" size 0,14. I first saw them in a PukiFee thread on DoA and search everywhere for them like crazy...several times (because I'm stubborn like that). The company that makes them doesn't ship internationally, only within United States (or was it just Sweden who was left out? Don't remember) and oh how I felt...disgruntled. Then I found them on eBay. They showed up now and then, but I never jumped on it. If it was the price+shipping that stopped me or the lack of favorite colors, I'm not sure. Probably both. BUT last week I discovered that RUSTA suddenly had some under the name "minibox" with four in every set. OMG! Squuueeee! They exist in Sweden! I was thrilled. And amazed. And had to have some. And will buy some more next time. And probably next...and next and....till I have bought every single box they have.

Yes. I AM obsessed. And proud of it. Sort of. Or maybe not...

This box organizer set is going to be mine one day. Yes indeed. One day. 
And here's a purple one, for those who like it that way.

Some updates - Clothes

4 weeks ago I bought my LF her very first clothes (except from her Rose Cat Full set and a old red Barbiedress that I wrapped around her in panic for Christmas) and they arrived 2 weeks ago. Cutes things ever! It's two different outfits, that can be mixed around. I like mix and match. They are from Poinsettia04 on Etsy, who's a very lovely, helpful and talented seller. I sooo recommend her. In fact, I bought 2 more outfits and a hat, the day after I got these home ^.^

Eventually, I will make the clothes myself. But for now, at least she'll have something cute to wear ♥ 

Acrylic vs Glass - LittleFee Chloe

Some updates - New Glass Eyes

I bought these just before I moved...or was is after? Anyway, they found their way home to me during the autumn. I never took any photos because there was no Internet for a while, so here they are now...a couple of months late.

The first two pair above (16mm and 10mm) is Full House Glass Eyes from hikaraxxy on DoA. The one below (14mm) is from Ebay. As far as I can see the 14mm are identical with the 16mm (except in size), so I suspect that they are from the same manufacturer.

My LittleFee Chloe have the 14mm now. And why did I buy 16mm eyes, you might wonder with great curiosity (or not)? Well. I do dream. Bigger size, bigger eyes you know ;)

Some updates - Wigs

My nameless Littlefee is still a I-don't-know-what-to-do mystery. I bought a third wig for her, short and dark (as you could see on the Christmas pictures here and here). It's from Fatiao on Ebay. It's cute, but didn't "click" at first. Then she got her new eyes and suddenly it looked so much better:

I really like it. But! A new problem evolved: the new tomboy-ish look is a very fine line to walk on. With not enough happy bright girlish clothes, she have the tendency to look like a boy with a lot of makeup (not that it's something wrong with that, but it's less suiting for a childlike doll that are supposed to be a girl, NOT a boy with makeup). It's like she's determent to walk her own path, despite my desperate tries to mold her. "Resistance is futile". Well, okay then! Try to achieve perfection without me. Good luck with that.

...I might keep my eye open for a forth wig just in case (same color, but longer). THEN I give up. Because jeeez, it has to end sometimes. My wallet isn't really made for this hobby, so I can't keep buying wigs if there's ever gonna be another doll in the horizon >.<


I also bought a new blond wig for Shilou, but that one is just awful. So big and bulky. Even a trim wouldn't do the trick. It's a shame, it looked so good in the picture :/

I'm trying to find a blond wig (with fringe) that hides her pointy ears. The dream wig for Shilou right now is this one from Fairyland, but that one sold out before I even knew that it was sold separately. And this one, which is very similar...that one sold out before I even got into this hobby! Bummer.

Some updates

A new year and time for some updates. Things are still a bit chaotic in the new apartment, but at lest I can see the floor now ^.^ I have also assembled a cabinet for the little ones, so I'm looking forward to the day I can fill it with furniture and all their other stuff, to make it more comfy. I have tons of props, but some of them needs to be painted white. Don't know when that will happen. Have to get my hands on some plastic primer first.
