Fur Wigs from Etsy

I'm not totally sure about Ante's hair yet. She is probably not going to use the wig I order with her from Fairyland (I just couldn't stand the thought of her being bold). I have a picture in my head how I want her to look. Well, I have two pictures (hrrm...three). I'm trying to figure out if it's two different characters or not. It's a little confusing, because maybe I have managed to make two personalities in one character...and we can't have that, can we?

What was I going to say? Oh! Yes. I've ordered 4 fake fur wigs från etsy. Couldn't help myself. One is exactly the color I wanted (sort of my own haircolor...weird? Maybe). And then I couldn't NOT buy the blue (teal) one. And a red one, for the bright colour sake. And finally a white. Because...well, I don't know. Maybe she can go through some kind of hair transformation in the winter? ^.^

Once the wigs have arrived I'll show them. It will probably be before the doll is here anyway...which going to take like FOR EVER, so I'll have to put something up.

The beginning

I have had my eyes on Ball Jointed Dolls for some years now, but I have always thought they where in a world beyond me. I'm not really sure why. I have been fascinated by miniatures all my life and the making of them. When I was younger I did books and beds for Barbie dolls, sewed some clothes (I will try to find some of them later on and show here) and even made a camping-wagon-thingy for a barbiehorse. Tiny foodstuff was the best. I remember Kitchen Littles products and absolutely adored them (I still do). It is so sad they don't sell them in the stores anymore. But maybe it's good...I would ruin myself on them. Totally. But still. I have a huge craving for them.

Anyway. Barbiedolls really don't do the trick. They still feel a little too much like children toys and I'd like to have more possibility to movement and personality.

So. This is me, taking a step on new ground. It'll be exiting.
Wish me good luck?
